April has been all blue skies where I am, which has been a lovely change of pace – and major inspiration.
Here we’ve got the simple wedding pieces I typically start with when working on concepts, all washed over with a lovely blue watercolor sky.
Design elements used:
Rather than go full Disney (although there are true to the animated film touches), looking at the origin and historical locale for this fairy tale brings in lots of unexpected details.
So we’re talking late 17th or 18th century France, that Versailles faux-rustic look with luxurious bits and bobs throughout. And the odd pumpkin.
